The company lays stress on environmental protection and resource comprehensive utilization. It has invested over 8,000 yuan in environmental protection with an indicator up to the domestic advanced level and made the best use of resources. All smoke & gas and dirt points have dust removal facility, and it has 17 sets of electric dust removal and cloth bag dust removal devices with an effluent concentration of 10-60mg/m3. The top gas is applicable to coal injection and sintering. Moreover, it has also built a 100MW power plant. The converter gas is all recycled to roast ladle and tundish instead of liquefied gas, which not only protects the environment but also reduces the energy consumption to achieve the objective of steel-making negative energy production. The production waste drainage has been treated by the tabella settling tank, chemical oil remover and the like for recycling. The sewage achieves zero release. The company has built a cement plant with an annual output of 0.1 million tons through blast furnace granulating slag. The converter slag is all exported for making fire plate. The implementation of hot billet and hot delivery with high-speed wire can save 15kg heavy oil per billet. The converter sludge, gas ash and blast furnace return fines are used in sintering recycling. Excrescent converter iron mud is used in steel-making after ball-making. The noisy places all adopt silencing and noise reduction measures. Through the above environment-friendly measures, the company basically achieves zero release in smoke & gas, dust, sludge and waste water. Its environmental protection is up to the national allowable release indicator and its technical and economic indicator as well as environment-friendly indicator ranks high in the industry. Therefore, the company successfully passes the environmental influence evaluation.
